Children are truly interested in rocks! This resource was developed as a thematically-integrated unit in which children explore and learn about rocks and minerals, and use geological themes for lessons in language arts, music, art, social studies, personal planning, math, and drama. It covers a wide range of related topics from earthquakes and volcanoes to mining communities and careers.
